Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the BeOK app or related services.

Important Notice

BeOK is not a safety app, emergency service, medical device, or guaranteed real-time alert system. In a real emergency, always use appropriate emergency channels such as calling local emergency services, contacting the police, fire department, ambulance, or using a telephone or other direct emergency communication method.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BeOK, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the app or any related services.

2. Purpose of the App

BeOK is intended as a communication and status-sharing tool that helps users stay in touch with selected contacts or groups. It is designed for convenience and general personal coordination only.

BeOK is not intended to detect emergencies, dispatch help, guarantee user safety, monitor real-time risk, or replace professional emergency, medical, security, or crisis-response services.

3. No Emergency or Safety Service

BeOK does not provide emergency response, rescue coordination, law enforcement support, medical assistance, or guaranteed delivery of alerts, messages, or notifications.

Notifications may be delayed, muted, filtered, interrupted, or fail entirely due to device limitations, operating system restrictions, network outages, third-party services, user settings, battery-saving modes, connectivity problems, or other technical reasons.

If you are in danger or facing a real emergency, do not rely on BeOK. Use a telephone, call local emergency services, or seek immediate help through the appropriate official channels.

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use BeOK and for deciding whether it is appropriate for your situation. You must not use the app as your only safety measure, your only means of communication, or your only emergency plan.

You are responsible for maintaining access to a working phone, emergency contacts, and any other communication tools that may be necessary in urgent situations.

5. No Warranties

BeOK is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any warranties of availability, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, or error-free performance.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of BeOK, including but not limited to missed alerts, delayed notifications, failed message delivery, service interruptions, loss of data, personal injury, property damage, or any harm arising from reliance on the app in urgent or emergency situations.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.

8. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of BeOK at any time, with or without notice.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of BeOK after updated terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
